Cecilia Archuleta, violin

Violinist Cecilia Archuleta, has performed internationally as an orchestral musician and soloist. Her freelance career in California, where she was born, brought numerous celebrity engagements, including a concert for Princess Grace of Monaco, and a performance of the Bach Double Concerto with Jack Benny. She has appeared as soloist with the Mexico City Philharmonic and, by special request of the First Lady of Mexico, has played before the President of Mexico. Cecilia is one of the most sought-after violinists in the Pacific Northwest, where she was a founding member of the highly praised Onyx Chamber Players, participated for twelve seasons in the Olympic Music Festival, is a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta, frequently appears on Gallery Concerts, and has played with the Northwest Puppet Center, the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, and the Seattle Symphony.

Marcia Ott, violin

Marcia Ott attended Oberlin Conservatory, New England Conservatory, and has her Masters of Music degree from Pacific Lutheran University. She has performed as recitalist and soloist throughout the United States and Europe. While living on the east coast she co-founded the Showcase String Quartet which was active in and around the greater New York City area.

She is a member of the Aronoff Trio which performs throughout the Northwest, and is founding member and first violinist of the Tacoma Musical Arts Ensemble. She is a member of The Northwest Pacific Ballet Orchestra, The Northwest Sinfonietta, The Auburn Symphony, and is on the string faculty of Pacific Lutheran University.

Christina Siemens, piano

Christina Siemens is an active professional musician who is in demand as pianist/vocalist/coach. She is one of three solo Company pianists with the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Productions Ms. Siemens performed in included PNB’s perennial favorite, The Nutcracker, as well as PNB’s premiere of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet. Ms. Siemens also had a singing role in Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and she concluded PNB's 2008-2009 season with solo piano performances of Mendelssohn’s Variations Serieuse, programmed during PNB’s “Laugh out Loud” Spring Dance Festival. Ms. Siemens is currently on the faculty at Bellevue Community College, serving as piano/music history and theory instructor. She is also employed as the accompanist of the Northwest Chamber Chorus. Ms. Siemens is a core member of the Tudor Choir. She is also very active in the Seattle film/game soundtrack recording industry

Eileen Swanson, viola

Eileen Swanson has enjoyed a long career of performing and teaching in the Seattle area. She joined the Northwest Chamber Orchestra as a charter member while a graduate student at the University of Washington and played with it for its entire 33 years. With the orchestra she participated in recordings of Hovhaness, Glass, Henry Cowell, Vivaldi and others, including a best-selling album of Baroque Christmas music. With quartets from the orchestra, she traveled to China twice, the 1997 trip marking the first performance of a string quartet on the Great Wall.

Currently she is a member of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, the Auburn Symphony, and principal violist and manager of the St. James Cathedral Orchestra. She has performed in and directed the Providence Point Chamber Music series for 18 years. A highlight of summer is the Midsummer Musical Retreat, a music camp for amateur musicians which meets at Whitman College in Walla Walla. Playing for groups such as Opus 7 and Seattle Pro Musica gives her the opportunity to enjoy choral music with friends. She enjoys teaching violin, viola, and piano to children and adults in her home studio.
